Metric Tool & Stamping has been producing precision micro-stampings on a continuous basis for numerous companies in a variety of industries, including: electronic, computer, medical, aerospace, communications, photographic, and plastic molding. We have served these industries for 35 years with little or no client turnover. Parts have been phased out, but our customers stick with us for the next generations.
We are recognized as a dependable long-term producer of precision micro-stampings. Our specialty is meeting long term purchase orders with short term deliveries (i.e. kanban, dock to stock) while providing long term price reduction.
OTHER ADVANTAGES
Metric does not have the expense of maintaining a large sales force. This saves you money; but it also enables you to deal directly with the people responsible for the job. We have a small workforce and each employee knows every customer.
We also assist in design and building of secondary tooling operations. They have varied from post mold forming, trimming, degating, and ejection to post plating singulation and packaging.
To receive the highest quality at the most reasonable price, we make high-volume or special purchases raw material whenever economically feasible. Prior to each production run, we evaluate past production runs to insure that we are giving our customers the best pricing available.
We also have a good relationship with a large base of precious metal finishers whose capabilities range from spot to selective stripe to controlled depth and barrel.
Metric has a long-standing policy of being prompt, courteous, and responsive to all our customers' needs. Being able to reduce leadtimes on current stamping projects is our greatest advantage. With our quick set-up capabilities and commitment to keep raw materials in stock, we can easily turn many stamping orders on within 24 hours. After that, the size of the order is all that dictates how fast the parts get delivered.
