MTSI has a long history based on our Founder and President, Hermann Knauss. Trained and attaining the title of Master Tool & Die-maker in his native Germany, Mr Knauss used his skills to establish MTSI in 1972. Though now retired, he served as the company’s master toolmaker for 25 years and an advisor since retiring.
Now, MTSI combines our founder’s legacy and commitment of Old World craftsmanship with the latest precision technologies. We combine our superior tool-making capabilities with a variety of services, including:
